The Pabst Mansion was built in the late 1800s for Captain Frederick Pabst, founder of the Pabst Brewing Company. The mansion is a stunning tribute to renaissance design. The building’s historic architecture and interior design makes it a charming and unique wedding venue in Milwaukee.
Rebecca and Brian were married a few years ago, but didn’t have a big wedding celebration. We spent an afternoon at the mansion in celebration of their anniversary with a wedding style session. The couple had fun creating new memories and celebrating old ones. The session was filled with romantic glances, stolen kisses and cheer. Enjoy this romantic Pabst Mansion anniversary wedding session.
My favorite moment of the session was photographing Rebecca in the Ladies’ Parlor. The Parlor is breathtaking with the rich pink and ivory color palette, carvings and sculptures. Rebecca’s beauty and elegance was perfectly reflected in this room.
Rebecca and Brian were standing behind the table looking into the room behind me. This immediately reminded me of Grant Wood’s painting ‘American Gothic‘ and inspired this image of a modern, yet historic couple living in the Pabst Mansion.
