Sometimes when people hear the word “portrait,” they think of a photo of a person in a very posey-pose, and we’re here to tell you that’s not what we mean by a portrait.
We think great portraits are fluid and lovely, bold and graceful. It doesn’t matter who the subject is; a great portrait shows you who the souls in the photo are. We photograph couples of all sorts; engaged, soon to be engaged, married, parents and grandparents. It's all about celebrating you and your person.
Engagements
Engagement sessions are included in our wedding collections because we believe that you deserve to be captured as a couple before you are a wedding couple. You have this big, beautiful life and relationship together, and that needs to be celebrated!
Engagement sessions are a great way to take some time away from wedding planning. We’re here to document those moments for you, letting you take the time to connect again as two humans in love.
Where can we do the session? Anywhere that feels like “you”. Do you love to cook together? We can photograph you in your home as you make dinner! If you’re in your happy place hiking or camping, then we’ll join you there. Wherever we do the session it’s all about capturing you in a place that has meaning to your relationship.
We’ll give you all the tools you need before the session, like how to prepare and what to wear, so all we need you to do is show up and be ready to have an amazing time together.

We think an anniversary portrait session should be a gift you give to each other! Even if you just bookmark the “big ones” like your 1 year, 5 year (and so on) with an anniversary session, we guarantee you that you’re going to love having these important photos.

Anniversary Portraits
A destination engagement can be somewhere exotic and wonderful, or it can be Up North in your cabin in Hayward, or it can be in Boston, where you live. We love to travel, so we are always up for capturing you in a place you love.
Many of our couples are from out of state, and we’re thrilled to get to meet them where they live and get that glimpse into their lives. If you’re planning on getting married here in Wisconsin but live elsewhere, don’t think you need to skip out on the engagement session! We’re happy to come to you and hang out in your hometown (or follow your wunderlust).
