"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds."
High school sweethearts and new parents, Tegan and Jeremiah, are lucky to share their passion for storytelling with each other. Nine years after the couple met they finally said I DO on August 25, 2012. The incredible journey they share has only just begun.
Tegan started photographing weddings in 2007 and fell more in love with it after planning their wedding. She truly understood the importance of preserving the memories and details, no matter how small. Jeremiah started assisting her over the years and enjoys photography as a creative break from his nursing career. Years of building their relationship has led to a beautiful team dynamic.
They take a storytelling and journalistic approach in preserving the moments of your day. The couple focuses on beautiful lighting and gives subtle directions to avoid overly posed images. They want to be observers and only intrude when it's desired to achieve an artistic vision. Your photographs will focus on your love for each other in a timeless and classic manner.
Just when you think you know love, something little comes along to remind you how big it really is. We welcomed our daughter into the world three days after our five year anniversary. She lights up our life and constantly keeps us smiling at her silly faces and new tricks.
We are an old married couple, happy to stay in on a Friday night and binge our favorite TV shows over a delicious meal. We have a movie collection that could rival Best Buy and a gaming collection that will make our future children proud. Although we love our date nights in, we also enjoy trying everything Milwaukee offers from tasty treats to amazing events.
We are filled with wanderlust and the need to explore, meet new people, embrace all cultures, and understand history. Tegan would jump at the chance to visit Italy again and spend every day eating delicious food (gelato - yum!), while Jeremiah can't wait for the day when he visits Russia and immerses himself in the culture and language.
We share our Brookfield home with two spoiled cats, Alice and Kitana. It's not surprising to find us relaxing after dinner with a cat snuggled up on each of our laps. We probably take more iPhone pictures and videos of them than we do of each other.
We believe that beautiful minds inspire each other.
We were both led to photography through different creative channels that balance our creative and analytical sides. Tegan draws inspiration from her background in design, architecture, and art history. Jeremiah draws inspiration from his background in music and medicine.
