Lauren + Zach // Veteran’s Park Engagement

Zach was hoping to meet new people and gain a fresh start, so he joined Tinder. He stumbled upon a stunning brunette with a personality that leaped from the screen. He knew he had to meet her and contacted her with the best pickup line in his arsenal, “Hey.” Lauren responded a few hours later and agreed to meet for a blind date later in the week. Zach cancelled the first night due to nerves, but thankfully Lauren’s best friend Erin convinced her that Zach was worth a second chance. Lauren and Zach met at Buffalo Wild Wings, one of Milwaukee’s most romantic hot spots according to Zach. Lauren was almost a half hour late, but that didn’t matter since Zach knew there was something special about her.

Two hours of great conversation later, plus an entire order of wings untouched, kept the couple wanting more. They both knew that their lives would never be the same. Lauren told her mom that she had just met the man she knew she was going to marry! They officially began dating after their second date to the Milwaukee Brewers game. After numerous family functions and some crazy adventures, their love for one another continues to grow each day. They are truly destined to be together. Zach knew this from the start and secretly went ring shopping and planned the proposal with Lauren’s mom. He gathered all their family and friends to hold signs at Joan of Arc Chapel asking her to marry him. How cute!

I met Lauren, Zach and their amazing puppy Bailey at Veteran’s Park near Lake Michigan for their Milwaukee engagement session. Bailey is the five month old golden retriever in the world! She was also so well behaved, ignoring the flying frisbees, kites and people walking near us during the session. She wanted to roll, play and give kisses the entire time. I LOVE that she blinked during one of the photos!

Lauren and Zach found the perfect puppy to start their family. These two are equally as playful and cuddly with each other. Plus, they are hilarious and know how to make each other laugh. I don’t know how Lauren does it, but Zach starts cracking up with one look. I can’t wait until these two tie the knot this fall!
